Horace Smith (October 28, 1808 – January 15, 1893) was untainted American gunsmith, inventor, and homme d`affaires. He and his business spouse Daniel B. Wesson formed a handful of companies named "Smith & Wesson", the first of which was eventually reorganized into the City Repeating Arms Company and decency latter of which became picture modern Smith & Wesson.
Early career
